About Our Journey
This blog is an account of our 2010 trip southbound along the Continental Divide Trail (CDT). The CDT is one of the 11 National Scenic Trails in the United States, running approximately 3,100 miles from Mexico to Canada. We’re starting at the Montana border with Canada in Glacier National Park and ending at the New Mexico border with Mexico somewhere around here. We’ll be walking across four states: Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, and New Mexico.
Posts: Departing a bit from the Pacific Crest Trail blog, I’ll be making updates along the way with a Peek email device. Provided I’m in range of a wireless towers, you’ll see posts to this blog as soon as I write them. Just click on the “home” tab at the top of the page.
Map: You can see a Google map of where we’ve camped/spent the night most every night by clicking the “map” tab at the top of the page. This will be a good way to track our progress.
Pictures: Finally, we’re going to be keeping our photos on Google Picasa, which you can link to from any of the posts.
We hope you enjoy following our journey! Have a fantastic summer/fall/winter!
